Welcome to the SURFMAN.co Progress page.

This is another one of many pages on this website used by me, the site owner. I gotta get my act together if I ever want this website and all of the parts that make Surf Man what it is to be in order and flowing smoothly. This page is not intended to be “useful” to anyone, but you may gain insight into all of the different parts of this project that make it what it is as a whole. I have so many projects going at once that it can sometimes be difficult to keep up with it all, so I needed a place where I could keep notes to remind myself of what I’m doing. From curating content from multiple sources for the directory, to creating and sharing my digital art and photography on social media, these are all of the parts that make Surf Man.

Note that not everything is listed yet. This page is a work in progress, like the title says.

Progress In Digital Art Big Huge Labs Bead Art:

I don’t how many years ago it was that I discovered Big Huge Labs, but it’s a pretty fun website to use for creating photo manipulation digital art. My favorite tool that it has is a mosaic converter that turns photos into mosaics. I am currently working on converting all of my Tumblr photos collection into mosaics with this tool.

Progress In Downloading Alabama Living Magazine On Issuu:

On Thursday, August 20th, 2026, at around 8:00 AM CST, I dug out an old Alabama Living Magazine from August 2018 I had been hoarding, with the intentions of getting local and statewide website resources out of it. I never did, but I would still like to do that. However in trying to declutter my home, I had to get rid of the magazine. I discovered the magazine’s website, and links to it’s publication archive on Issuu. I happen to know of a website that can be used to download publications off of Issuu (that is if it still works – haven’t tried it in a long time – but I will eventually).

When I am ready to start this project, these are the resources I need:

Progress In Featured Youtube Videos:

A new section for the website I’m working on is Featured Youtube Videos. I have a Youtube Premium subscription, so I am able to watch Youtube ad-free, which makes it a useful platform to get information and entertainment from. This Featured Youtube Videos section contains listings of videos I think are useful, interesting, or just entertaining.

I am hoping to put the list on site soon, and start updating it from there.

A new discovery for me as of Monday, July 27th, 2026 at 9:00 PM CST, is Burning The Ground, 80s and 90s 12 Inch Mixes.

Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 at 7:13 AM CST – A new 512GB flash drive has been ordered for this project.

Progress In Music DI.FM Listening And Tracks Collection:

Since at least Jul 9, 2023 at 9:10pm (according to di.fm aka Digitally Imported), I have been a subscribing member of the DI.FM EDM music streaming platform, and have enjoyed countless hours of listening to some great EDM music from various genres. Beyond listening to the music, I like to make lists of the tracks I hear. I take the tracks and make a huge list of all the tracks heard. This list is published in the Surf Man Website Directory. I publish the list for other fans of EDM music who may use it to look up the tracks on platforms like Spotify, and Youtube for music discovery or reconnecting with old favorites. I also curate the list for my own personal keeping and as a commemoration to my growing love for some styles of EDM music.

Progress In Publishing Blog Posts A TO Z:

I’ve been going around and around with trying to figure out how to handle publishing the article links I’ve been collecting from Inoreader with Link Gopher. At first I was publishing these in my Article Mix Zine. Then I stopped doing that, and started publishing them in Surf Man Website Directory. Then I decided it’s too much content to put in the directory. So now in September 2026 I find myself stuck with a text file full of over 45 thousand article links that I want to share with readers who can use them to access articles on the internet. Today (Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 at 9:55 AM CST) I have decided that I’m going to try turning these listings into a series of blog posts A-Z with lists of these article links, all linking to the specific articles they are for. ALSO, I may return back to publishing the Article Mix Zine. I am not making any promises for that however.
