Remember those HUGE website directory books from the early 2000’s? Surf Man is aiming to bring something similar in PDF format to the modern internet for avid web surfers.

This directory will be based off of social media listings found on Facebook, and other social networks, plus web curated listings.

Listings are currently being collected, and work to build this website will begin soon.

New publications to come soon include X and Google Search Trends, and more.

It’s finally happening. The Surf Man Website Directory Zine is now being published. It combines and replaces all other zines published before it, starting with the 2nd issue. Issue 2 will bring Surf Man Website Directory, Articles Mix Zine, and Trendy Zine into one giant publication. Get the first free issue below.

NOTICE – Surf Man Website Directory 002 is delayed. It may be published in September 2026. It may not be published Until October or November 2026. At worst, it may not be published until December 2026. I am changing up the format and removing some content from the publication. I have decided that some of the content is too overkill for the amount of time it takes to collect it, and I am taking my time (with no apologies) to perfect this publication into something I’m proud to offer to you, the readers.

2026-08-08-SAT-09:56-CST – CATCHING UP – I know I’ve been lazy with listing the latest updates, but I think I’ve said it before that sometimes you just have to look around the site to find the latest content that is updated. There is a new Progress page on site now, where I am trying to organize all of my projects. That page is primarily meant for my own use, but you may find some resources there that you could use that is related to some of the work I’m doing, both for this website, and for personal interests. I’ve recently gotten back into building my personal MP3 music collection, and staying busy with creating digital art, including AI generated art. I also started a new Featured Youtube Videos List that is updated frequently, and will be archived on site monthly. Surf Man Website Directory 002 will hopefully be published soon.

2026-03-27-FRI-23:10-CST – DISCOVERED EXPORTIFY – Tonight I was interested to find out if there was a way to export a list of song tracks in a Spotify playlist. I searched Google for how to get a text list of songs in a spotify playlist. After checking out a few links in the search results, I decided to try out Exportify.net. Exportify allows you to export a playlist to a csv file. The csv file will contain information such as Artist Names, Track Name, Album Name, Release Date, Genre, and even record labels, plus a lot of other information. Once you have a csv file, you can move the columns of information around in the order you want, then highlight the columns of information you want in your text list, then copy and paste into a text editor such as Windows Notepad. From there you can do any additional editing to your list as needed. I’m really happy to find Exportify, and I will be looking for large playlists on Spotify so that I can create music lists for the Surf Man Website Directory.

2026-03-26-SUN-23:46-CST – LOTS OF SHOPPING CURRENTLY – I really don’t want to (yes I do lol – but no I don’t – whatever), but I have a lot of shopping going on currently. As I’m sure I mentioned somewhere, I recently moved, and there are things I both need and want. I have ideas for how I want my apartment to look over the course of the new lease I’m about to sign, and therefore I need to buy some things. I recently bought a new round area rug for my round dining table and chairs in the kitchen, a wreath and doormat for the front door, and I’ve started having some groceries delivered. Yesterday I ordered a new 18 foot runner rug for the hallway. Today I ordered two tablecloths for my kitchen table, and two clippers and trimmer sets. I’ve been shaving with a dog hair trimmer lol. Don’t judge me. It works.

2026-03-14-SAT-19:39-CST – I NEED NEW CDS – Ok I don’t really need new cds, but I want some. Tonight I got on a Greatest Hits CD binge. I want to start collecting Greatest Hits cds from favorite music artists that I don’t currently own. I went to Amazon and browsed around a bit. I’ve got 3 I’m looking at to order soon maybe. These selections are (don’t judge me lol – I don’t care if you do anyway) Jo Dee Messina Greatest Hits, Michael Jackson Number Ones, and Culture Club Greatest Hits. What got me into wanting to collect these greatest hits cds is that Jo Dee Messina has a new song out called Some Bridges, and I really love the song. I am making it my theme song for 2026. I think it sends a very powerful message that sometimes it’s ok to burn bridges. I also love her older music, and so I thought I would go on Amazon to see if she had a greatest hits cd, and I saw that she did. Then I started browsing around for other greatest hits cds, and you know how things go from there. I’m going to try and use my brain though before I go spending bundles of cash on these. I have a premium Spotify account. So I’m going to listen to whatever cd I’m considering to buy on Spotify first to make sure I want it. Also I’m aiming at only buying cds that come with the free AutoRip MP3 files that Amazon offers with select albums.

2026-03-14-SAT-18:49-CST – KICKING OFF UPDATES AT SURF MAN – Damn I’m slow to get things started sometimes lol. Actually I’ve just been really busy working on all kinds of things, and I just forgot to start updating this website. Well this evening I figured now is as good a time as any to put the pedal to the floor and get the wheels rolling on turning this website into the platform it’s intended for. So here we go.
